Climate Narratives in Urban Interiors

Project type

Research

Date

Summer 2023

Location

Pratt Institute

This project investigates urban interiority as a critical framework for addressing climate change and resource optimization in Singapore’s threatened buildings. Organized into three research domains—Perceptions, Projections, and Probes—it integrates technical methodologies (“HOW”) with a broader narrative context (“WHY”) to rethink architectural adaptation. The design process employs AI-generated elevational graphics, dynamic visualization methods, and interconnected digital models to accelerate concept development. Through data integration from Google Street View and Google Earth, the project constructs immersive montages that reframe climate narratives, positioning architecture as both an analytical tool and an agent for resilience.
