Bridgeway Habitat

This project explores how housing and connectivity can shape a more inclusive urban environment. Located in Brooklyn, it introduces innovative bridge designs that foster community interaction while integrating mixed-use spaces and commercial zones to activate the site. The goal is to create a vibrant, interconnected neighborhood that supports social cohesion and new economic opportunities.

The design process starts at an urban scale, gradually zooming into individual buildings. A user-centric approach guides the development of elevated infrastructural elements that weave into existing housing structures, creating seamless connections between communities. These interventions not only enhance mobility but also carve out new spaces that respond to the needs of different user groups.
